I can definately understand where this article is coming from. All to often do I get an instant message of:
[15:35] Someone: “R u their??///////”
[15:35] Someone has logged off.
Fifteen seconds is not enough time to realisticly respond to someone. Especially if they are in the middle of something else, like work, or playing a video game, or watching a movie, or anything else on the computer other than instant messaging. In conclusion, instant gratification can suck my left nut.
